Crumbed Ham Steaks:
Ingredients:
340g can Plumrose Leg Ham
1 tablespoons flour
1 egg, beaten
½ cup dry breadcrumbs
Oil for frying
8 spinach baby leaves
½ cup pineapple pieces
Soft cream cheese
Slivered almonds
Method:
Cut Plumrose Leg Ham into 8 even slices, coat in flour, egg and breadcrumbs, pressing crumbs on firmly. In a large frying pan heat oil and cook ham steaks until golden.
Place ham steaks onto grill pan, and place a baby spinach leaf on each ham steak. Top with pineapple pieces and a teaspoon of cream cheese, sprinkle with slivered almonds and place under a hot grill until almonds are toasted. Serve immediately.
