Ham and Corn Fritters:
Ingredients:
1/3 cup self raising flour
2 tablespoons cornflour
2 eggs, separated
ΒΌ cup milk
200g can shredded Plumrose Leg Ham
300g can corn kernels, drained
2 spring onions, finely chopped
Ground Black pepper
Method:
Sift flour and cornflour into a bowl, add egg yolks and milk, mixing well. Stir in Plumrose Leg Ham, corn and spring onion and season with pepper. Whip egg whites until stiff and gently fold into flour mixture.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Spoon a tablespoon of mixture into pan and flatten to approximately 4cm in diameter. Cook until golden brown, turn and cook other side. Repeat to make 12 fritters.
Serve immediately with sweet chilli sauce drizzled over.
