Port and Orange Glazed Ham:
Ingredients:
450g can Plumrose Leg Ham removed from can and jelly discarded
1 orange, sliced
6-8 pecan nuts halves
Glaze:
½ cup orange juice
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
2 tablespoons brown sugar
¼ cup Port
Mixed spice to taste
Method:
Using a sharp knife, score the Plumrose Leg Ham in a diamond pattern. Decorate top of ham with the orange slices and pecan nuts.
Place ham into a baking dish and spoon over the combined glaze ingredients. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes, spooning the glaze over the ham once or twice during cooking.
SERVES: 4-6
PREPARATION TIME: 10 minutes
COOKING TIME: 20-30 minutes
TIP: Serve the ham hot or cold and cut into slices. Any extra pan juices can be served as a sauce.
