Spaghetti Carbonara:

Ingredients:

250g spaghetti
1 tablespoon oil
340g can Plumrose Leg Ham, diced
3 spring onions, sliced
1 cup frozen peas
¾ cup cream
1 egg yolk

Method:

Cook spaghetti following packet directions. Heat oil in a frying pan add diced Plumrose Leg Ham, spring onions and peas and cook for 2 minutes stirring occasionally.

Stir in combined cream and egg yolk and simmer for 2 minutes.

Drain pasta and stir in ham mixture. Serve immediately.

Serves: 2-4

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Tip: Spaghetti can be substituted with short pasta eg. Penne as an alternative.
