5 small pita bread, halved
1 cup (250mL) tomato paste
10 cheese slices, sliced into long, thin strips
1 x 400g can Plumrose Frankfurts
1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place pita bases out on baking trays.
Spread each with about 1 tablespoon of tomato paste. Use the cheese to make a checkers grid over the tomato paste. Slice the Frankfurts into quarters lengthways, then into thirds (making 12 batons each). Make your kids play noughts and crosses to decorate, using 2 batons as Frankfurt crosses and one cherry tomato slice as noughts. Sprinkle with extra cheese before baking.
When the games are over, bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden.
Note: They will only be enough batons for 9 pita pizza, so make the final one cheese and tomato.
